The movie: Demolition Man

The situation: Taco Bell has won the franchise wars.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Demolition Man, Taco Bell created a huge Demolition Man themed pop-up event at Comic-Con. And to invite journalists to the event, we sent care packages from the "future" in 2032, a time when every restaurant is Taco Bell, people can be revived after cryogenic freezing, and three seashells are somehow involved in your bathroom routine. (It makes sense if you've seen the movie.) Our invites played videos, starring Dan Cortese, who made his film debut in the in original movie.
We got a ton of media coverage, with zero spent on media.
Videos played upon opening the box. We got Dan Cortese, who had a cameo in the original Demolition Man, to walk journalists through the contents of the mailer.
